The Ulu knife is one of the oldest and most versatile blade designs in the world — originally used by Indigenous Arctic peoples for everything from skinning game to preparing food.  THE BLADE
The crescent-shaped blade is hand-forged from high-carbon Damascus steel (1095 & 15N20), featuring a breathtaking swirl/raindrop pattern that is completely unique to this knife. The curved belly of the blade is ideal for rocking cuts, mincing herbs, slicing pizza, and precision skinning. The blade achieves a hardness of 58–60 HRC on the Rockwell Scale — holding a razor-sharp edge through heavy use.

At the center of the blade is a smooth finger-ring hole, allowing the user to slip their index finger through for a locked, controlled grip — a design feature that gives the Ulu unmatched control over conventional knives.

 THE HANDLE
The handle is crafted from genuine natural ram horn / sheep horn, shaped and polished to reveal its beautiful natural tones — deep browns, creams, and dark marbling unique to each piece. The handle is attached to the blade using solid brass pins for a permanent, rock-solid connection. The natural texture of the horn provides a comfortable, non-slip grip even in wet conditions.
